I don’t know about you, but I’ve been craving a relaxing weekend at home. Friday night ended up being busier than expected. Bob had a retirement dinner in the suburbs for one of his colleagues. I stopped by the new Louis Vuitton pop-up in the West Loop. I had already been home relaxing beforehand, so it was a modern day miracle that I managed to change and head back to Randolph Street. It was great to catch up with a few people I haven’t seen in a while and get a peek at Virgil Abloh’s exclusive designs for the Chicago location.
On Saturday, we slept in as much as possible before grabbing brunch at one of our favorite neighborhood spots. Afterwards, I got together with Alicia for a few blog photos. Bob stayed at home to tackle a handful of to-do’s at the house. Speaking of the house, we had some really great news this week! We accepted a buyer’s offer on our old place! There are still quite a few steps to go, but they had the inspection this weekend. Ultimately, they hope to close at the end of the month. Finger (and toes) crossed!
