After covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for countless years, I’ve always taken note on which items fly during their Early Access days for Icon, Ambassador, and Influencer members. Today, I’m sharing my predictions for the top Nordstrom Anniversary Sale bestsellers that consistently sell out at the very start of the sale. As I’ve mentioned in the past, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is my favorite sale of the year. At the same time, do not feel pressured to buy anything. Make a list of items you want to stock up on and stick to a budget. Rest assured there are plenty of suede booties, tank tops, and denim to go around! 🙂 At the same time, many incredible items DO sell out. Hopefully, today’s guide sets you up for success during the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Bestsellers
Below, I’m sharing the items that, based on previous year’s sales, will very likely sell out within the first few days and/or week of the sale. Some color options may still be available, but typically the exact styles I’m listing below are the ones that tend to sell out the quickest. Furthermore, this list is compiled based on actual sales data gathered by rewardStyle and LIKEtoKNOW.it (along with analyzing my own posts extremely closely every year).
For 2021, I’m also thrilled that Nordstrom is bringing 100 new brands into the mix! Therefore, some of these picks could surprise us in the end.
Adidas Edge Lux 4 Running Shoe
Between the feminine Ash Pearl and classic Black, these Adidas sneakers are going to be extremely popular. With cushioning for both outdoor and indoor running, the knit shoe is designed with a heel specifically for the shape of a woman’s foot.
SPANX Faux Leather Leggings
With nearly 3,500 five star customer ratings, there’s a reason why these bestselling faux leather leggings get high marks. In typical SPANX form, they suck you in while still being incredibly cozy and comfortable.
Marc Fisher Gadri Boot
The 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best time to purchase new fall boots. Case in point, this suede pair by Marc Fisher. The brand was kind enough to send me a pair in advance of the sale, and they are fantastic. The point toe shape elevates the look, and the elastic gore makes them all that more comfortable. Plus, they’re available in five colors! Shop another great boot style at the top of the page.
AG Farrah High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
Gen Z can take a back seat… these AG Farrah high-waisted skinny jeans remain a top seller for a reason. First off, they’re SO comfy. Plus, they’re available in two different washes.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Home Bestsellers
Some of the first products to sell out? Home products – especially looking at this year’s lineup. The hottest item to add to cart first? A Barefoot Dreams blanket in the color of your choice. Every year, I purchase at least three of them for our home and/or to also give as housewarming or Christmas gifts. They rarely go on sale, and there’s a reason why they consistently sell out.
Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blanket versions are the TRUE Barefoot Dreams blankets. Often, you’ll find people linking to the Nordstrom Rack option, but those items are NOT the same quality. Based on the past few years, this Barefoot Dreams blanket is sell out first (ivory and gray) followed closely by the leopard print in this hue. Trust. Also, I LOVE they have come out with a cute dog coat in the same cozy fabric. So cute!
The other item that’s bound to be a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale bestseller? This Dyson V11 Torque Drive Cordless Vacuum, which is on sale for under $579.99 (normally $699.99). Listen, I first owned a standard Dyson vacuum until we upgraded to the cordless version. Game changer and HIGHLY recommended.
Nordstrom Sale Beauty Best Buys
Next, let’s chat through beauty. Frankly, makeup and skincare are the category where items FLY. First off, this haircare set will be gone within the first day. Mark my words! I’d put a TON of money on the fact this $84 set (a $126 value) will sell like hotcakes. Best of all, they’re a full-size hair care products plus a jumbo size of the best-selling No. 3 Hair Perfector to help reduce breakage and visibly strengthen hair.
Additionally, this duo hair care set will be extremely popular, which includes both Gold Lust Dry Shampoo and their iconic Texturizing Spray. During the sale, the Magic Duo Full Size set will retail for $64 (typically $96). I’ve never seen as good of a deal as this set.
Other popular items include La Mer’s Jumbo Soft Cream, this Curling Iron (which is my go-to tool – highly recommended), Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Bae-sicks Kit, Resurfacing Mask Mix + Match Kit and Collagen Lip Bath Lip Gloss Set.
Nordstrom Sale Sweaters
Okay, the next category to prep for? Sweaters. From cardigans to cowl neck, cropped to oversized, this year’s NSale has a LOT of options to chose from. The first ones to likely sell out? This CozyChic Lite Cardigan (especially in the colors Pewter and Pearl), along with this striped color block Madewell cardigan. Overall, cardigans are the perfect layering piece, which is why I think they’re so popular.
Furthermore, this striped pink and ivory sweater had me at hello. It’s SO cute and it’s also going to be available in Plus Size. Additionally, I’m betting on this BB Dakota Naples Colorblock Cardigan and Leo Striped Sweater to do quite well.
Don’t underestimate COLOR. Sadly, this year’s Nordstorm Anniversary Sale doesn’t feature a ton of bold colors like season’s past. However, I love this gorgeous pink sweater and this aptly named “Too Good sweater.”
Lastly, I fully anticipate that classic sweaters will sell well yet again. This funnel neck popover looks amazing (and a phenomenal price) and color block knit top (both colors are so good!). If you’re looking for something more casual, this $29 hoodie is the ideal solution.
NSale Shoes
Okay, so there’s an ongoing joke among bloggers about Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shoes and the fact that there’s always a new tan bootie to behold. How many tan booties does one need in their life? I’ll let you decide, lol. In truth, I LOVE getting a new pair of boots in preparation for the fall season ahead. My go-to brands? Marc Fisher and Vince Camuto. Friends, you’ll never go wrong with styles from either of these companies.
Moreover, there tends to be a “battle of the best tan bootie” every year since there are SO many styles to pick from. Ultimately, I’d place my bets on either this style or this option well.
