Recently, we spent a quick weekend in Miami. When I was coordinating my flights to and from Grenada for work, I realized that I needed to make a Friday connection before getting home to Chicago. Since I was heading to Mexico the following Monday for another trip, we decided to spend the weekend in Miami. After Bob flew down on Friday night, we checked into the Faena Hotel Miami Beach and soaked-up a quick 48 hours worth of sunshine. I absolutely loved the hotel. The decor was over-the-top (in a good way), and the service was impeccable. It was the perfect place to relax for two nights in the midst of a several back-to-back work trips.
