What’s better than classic, timeless wardrobe staples? Well, ones that add a perfect design twist, of course! This Madewell trench dress and bell sleeve top are both perfect examples. I have long adored midi dresses, and the outerwear details on this one make it that much more versatile. I love that it can easily be worn on its own or layered with a collared shirt, tee, or statement top.
Speaking of statements, how amazing is this multicolor geometric mural in Dallas?! On my recent trip to the Lone Star state, I was excited to revisit some murals I had previously discovered, like this one and this one. It was so fun to find even more on this year’s trip! Thankfully, my friend Carrie put together a Dallas mini mural guide, which included this amazing work by Ricardo Paniagua. I knew the colors would be the perfect compliment to this classic outfit and my favorite Sophie Hulme rainbow tote. Be sure to see all of the lovely Madewell pieces at Nordstrom!
