Today, I’m excited to share a preview of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Charlotte Holiday Plaid Dress. Friends, I love this style SO much. Charlotte, the silhouette, has always been our bestselling style for good reason. It’s effortless, breezy and positively perfect for all seasons. I’m obsessed! 🙂
But this season, I wanted to give you the best (and most stylish) holiday plaid dress possible. Also, I designed it to be unliked any other plaid pattern you’ve seen before (but more on that later).
The Charlotte Holiday Plaid Dress will launch this coming Thursday, 11/18 at 10 AM CST on SailtoSable.com! The dress will be available in sizes XXS-3X, and it’s designed to be the ultimate perfect plaid party dress.

One of my favorite aspects of the design is the pattern, which is a HAND-PAINTED plaid! Yes, artist and illustrator Jeffrey Mattia actually painted this gorgeous pattern with the colors that I wanted – reds, pinks and navy. After seeing the final sketch, I seriously shrieked with delight! He really understood my vision. Plus, when you buy the Charlotte, you’re wearing a piece of ART (because you actually are!).
Furthermore, I decided to design each tier to have scallops to add extra texture and femininity to the style. Similar to all past Charlotte dresses, there are NO zippers so you can throw over the dress and head out the door. It’s also fully lined so that it’s comfy and silky smooth.
