Cobalt Blue Fit Flare Dress

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe August is already underway?! Summer definitely needs to slow down a bit. Today’s post features a cobalt blue fit flare dress that strikes the perfect balance. Its classic shape is ideal for the workplace, and the bold color is easy to dress up for a night out with friends. Beyond that, it’s a “seasonless” dress. The fabric is a nice medium weight, so when it gets colder, add some tights and blazer, and you’re good to go! Now, onto the shoes. Are they a little over the top? Yes. Am I totally in love with them? You know it! I think every gal needs a few pairs of special heels in her closet, and the best part about this option is that they won’t break the bank!

These photos are from our June trip to Northern California. After a day and a half in Napa, we made a point to spend a little time in San Francisco before our flight home. We had an amazing lunch, and then enjoyed the afternoon exploring the city. I love all of the distinctive neighborhoods – there’s always something new to discover! The last time we were there was the summer of 2015, so it was so great to be back. This colorful peacock feather mural was a really fun find; it’s even more stunning in person!
