Well, it finally happened. We broke out our patio furniture from storage! Yes, trees and flowers have begin to bloom in Chicagoland. However, the temps have still been a bit erratic (surprise, surprise). As such, we’ve been feeling hesitant to take the time to pull together all of our favorite Frontgate furniture for our back deck. Thankfully, my new ChappyWrap Lemon Stripes blanket was delivered last week! That was all the motivation I needed for “patio szn!”
ChappyWrap Lemon Stripes Collection
Today marks the debut of the ChappyWrap x Lemon Stripes blanket collection (shop them all here). A handful of weeks ago, my sweet friend Julia of lemonstripes.com reached out to let me know she had a collaboration with the Maine-based blanket company. After taking one look at their designs, I was sold! Naturally, I chose the blue stripe “Westport” style. I knew it would be the perfect compliment to our outdoor umbrella and pillows! It’s also available in a smaller “midi” size for picnics or afternoons at the beach or park. There’s also a yellow and blue lemon print and a classic blue floral print!
Julia Dzafic has been blogging at Lemon Stripes for more than ten years. Originally from New Hampshire, Julia and her husband now live in Connecticut with their daughter and newborn baby boy. Her blog covers everything from fashion to motherhood, wellness, recipes, and more. I’ve known Julia for a handful of years, and I’ve always been impressed with her work ethic, intentional mindset, and welcoming personality. Who is ChappyWrap?
Founded in 2006, ChappyWrap is a mother-daughter company based in Maine who makes the most comfy and versatile blankets. Also, I love how the name of the company is derived from Chappaquiddick Island on Martha’s Vineyard. Once you cozy-up with one, you can understand how cool summer nights and ocean breezes inspired the brand.
My very first ChappyWrap blanket arrived last summer as a gift from my sweet friends at Sail to Sable. They collaborated to make a lovely turquosie and green blanket using one of their iconic floral prints. All of last summer, Bob and I fought over that blanket on the nights we spent on the patio. Naturally, we just shared it, but the coziness of a ChappyWrap is no joke!
