In my humble opinion, it’s never too early to start planning for holiday décor! Christmas trees, ornaments, wreaths, garland, gift wrap… the list goes on and on. Over the years, we’ve dabbled in adding festive accents to our spaces. But this year is different, and we want to make our home feel extra jolly after a tough year. Thankfully, we’re partnering with the amazing team at Frontgate to add a dose of holiday cheer to our abode. They truly have the best holiday decorations on the planet!
Today, I wanted to share some of our holiday decoration plans, including our Christmas tree, ornaments, and other decorative accents. I’m SO excited to share the results in the weeks ahead!
Best Holiday Decorations
Generally, I don’t lean towards traditional red and green holiday decor. Instead, I love option for other colorful styles – especially pink and green. Fortunately, Frontgate has the most phenomenal holiday decor options in those hues, along with plenty of pops of metallics – rose gold, gold, silver, and platinum.
Picking a Christmas Tree
In the past, Bob and I have only stuck to smaller faux Christmas trees in colorful hues. Then, we moved and have a bit more storage (and ceiling height) for a bigger tree. Therefore, this year, our full-on tree from Frontgate is positively divine!
After researching countless Pinterest boards for holiday inspiration, I landed on this timeless tree from Frontgate. First off, it has amazing customer ratings. Plus, I love the aesthetic of the freshly fallen snow, which softens the overall look.
Ornaments
Like most of us, Bob and I have accumulated a bunch of personal ornaments over the years. Fun fact – my family has gifted me the annual Holiday Barbie ornament ever since Mattel started to come out with them! Over time, they’ll be passed down to other family members, which brings me so much joy!
For our new tree, I want to create a very clean, colorful, and aesthetically pleasing tree. Frontgate has so many great ornament options! We’ve chosen their Royal Blush collection, which includes 40 handblown glass ornaments in a mix of matte, translucent and opalescent finishes.
Several of them feature embellished details, such as sequins, embellished gems, etc. Additionally, I’m adding some additional texture with these gorgeous icicle accents, glitter stems, and these regal metallic Magnolia flowers.
Holiday Mantel Décor Ideas
Gah! I’m SO excited about our holiday mantel. To start, we’re adding this darling gold deer statue to the mantel, along with gorgeous blush garland. Furthermore, we’re going to hang our stockings off this stylish snowflake design.
Lastly, I’m head over heels in love with this mirror fireplace screen, which will add an extra dose of glam for the holidays and New Year’s Eve.
Ribbon + Trims
Based on my research, ribbons and trims take a good tree to positively divine. Frontgate’s selection of ribbons is crazy on point, and I love this blush velvet and snowflake jacquard will make an appearance on our tree.
