The Best Yucatan Mexico Resort Getaway

Greetings from Mexico! After a bunch of research, I’m thrilled to have found the best Yucatan Mexico resort getaway! Where? Friends, I’m SO excited to introduce you to Chable Resort & Spa. In fact, we have been loving every minute of our stay.

Listen, Mexico has SO many great hotels and resorts. Sometimes, I get analysis paralysis when trying to pick between all of the options. However, there’s something special about Chable. In short, the property embodies the ultimate Yucatan getaway.

It’s absolutely incredible. A jungle oasis, if you will.

There’s something so special about the Yucatan, Mexico. Yes, Cabo and Cancun are popular tourism destinations. However, a Yucatan getaway gives you a true, authentic taste of Mexico.

While it’s always nice to leave Chicago for tropical climates, the Yucatan has more than just beautiful temperatures. There’s gorgeous flora, fauna, and cenotes. Plus, the culture is thriving. Furthermore, the food is just phenomenal.

One hiccup? Sadly, my iPhone went on the fritz. Basically, it wouldn’t start out of nowhere. As such, I’m getting more of a “vacation” then I was hoping for. A digital detox, if you will. As a result, I’ve been borrowing Bob’s phone for social media posts. At this instant, he just loves it. Haha!

What to Pack for a Yucatan Getaway

To summarize, I LOVE packing for trips. Plus, a Yucatan Mexico getaway is the perfect time to break out colorful swimwear. I’m a total cover-up junkie! Hence, I had to bring wraps and caftans.

I got this cover-up last year for our trip to Mexico, and I’ve been wearing it ever since. The pom pom details are just so fun, and an easy way to add color to an outfit for lounging around a pool or the beach.
