Happy Friday from NYC! I took a personal day today in order to extend my stay in the Big Apple, after having meetings and work obligations earlier this week. I’m really excited to catch a few shows and see friends while I’m in town. Although it’s not my first fashion week ever, it is the first time that I am going as far as to attend an event or two and really traverse the city in order to see what spring 2018 has in store for all of us! It’s been so great to see some of my New York friends like Allie, Carly, Dana, and Grace!

This morning is starting off with a couple of blog shoots and then a few fashion presentations. I’m catching a flight back home tonight, so my time at NYFW will be brief to say the least. In the meantime, I’ll try to capture the fashion week fun on Instagram Stories, so be sure to tune in! The best part about leaving tonight is that we get to babysit my adorable niece all day tomorrow – she’s the best!

Lastly, here are some things that made me happy this week:

• Words cannot describe the amazingness that is Alaina’s greystone home tour. SO good!
• This tie-front tunic shirt is such a classic!
• Later this month, I’ll be on a really long flight for work, so I’m thrilled to see that Grace shared her September reading list this week!
• Just added these gold drop earrings to my cart!
• I am so incredibly proud of my friend Hayet for her new partnership with Nike!
• Need these blush suede mules in my life!

• Sweater season is on the horizon, and I’ll be living in this striped cashmere turtleneck very soon!
• This time of the year is a little tricky, given that the weather can be all over the place, thankfully, Allie is showing us all of her amazing sartorial moves!
• Four words: Sequin. Polka Dot. Cardigan.
• Oui Fresh just debuted their beauty line, and I’m really excited to try it! I love that it their products are cruelty-free, non-GMO, and gluten-free!
• This ruffle top is giving me major Self-Portrait vibes, and it’s less than $70!
• Loved seeing and reading about some details of Mackenzie and Will’s wedding. Congrats you two!
• How pretty is this cozy lilac coat?!
