Ask any of my friends from college, and they will tell you that I’ve long had an obsession with winter white. I think it’s such a classic option when the weather gets dreary. Plus, the early-to-mid aughts were rife with movie moments featuring this styling. From Jennifer Lopez in Maid in Manhattan, Diane Keaton in Something’s Gotta Give, to Cameron Diaz in The Holiday, there are so many ways to find inspiration.
J.McLaughlin White Puffer Coat
I’ve been fortunate to work with J.McLaughlin over the years, and their current fall collection had me at “monochromatic moment.” I mean their Brixen white puffer coat is a Nancy Meyers dream. Best of all, it’s super lightweight and warm enough to keep our recent chilly mornings at bay. I paired it with their split hem pants (also obsessed), and a classic ivory cashmere turtleneck. Lastly, the brand’s Tessare shopper tote fits my 13″ laptop perfectly. So it’s been on regular rotation for days in the office. Plus, it comes in both black and brown.
