I can think of no better reason to spend a weekend in California than to enjoy a Saturday afternoon watching polo with friends. Yesterday, I was thrilled to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles 2017 once again! It was held at the historic Will Rogers Park, situated in the Santa Monica mountains, adjacent to the Pacific Palisades. If you’re ever looking for a fun LA weekend itinerary, drive up the PCH to Pacific Palisades and wander through the cute downtown and charming neighborhoods. So relaxing!
After a late Friday night flight to LA, we woke up early, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and made our way to the event. We has Rosé Garden tickets, so after the valet, it was a quick shuttle to the park. Be sure to read my guide to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic to learn more about the different types of tickets.
WHAT TO WEAR TO THE VEUVE CLICQUOT POLO CLASSIC LOS ANGELES 2017
Deciding what to wear to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is always an interesting task. I don’t typically have issues deciding on an outfit for a big event, but this year I struggled to figure out what to do. Thankfully, NET-A-PORTER came to the rescue (as always), and I was so thankful to partner with them once again! The yellow dress was the perfect way to celebrate the day, and the bag was the ideal size to carry everything I needed.

THE DECOR AND FOOD AT THE VEUVE CLICQUOT POLO CLASSIC LOS ANGELES 2017
This year, the decor had many more pops of the brand’s signature sunny hue, which made the vibe that much more fun! They incorporated some new photo booth stations as well. The 360 degree one was definitely a hit with attendees. Also, the food was especially phenomenal. Not that it wasn’t delicious in the past, but this year the lunch felt very special – I literally wanted to eat everything! I’m pretty sure Bob devoured his steak salad in about 30 seconds!
The absolute best part of the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles 2017 was catching up with friends. Allie and Dana arrived just before we did and found the best seats – front and center with perfect views of the match. As always, I had an absolute blast with these two. My face still hurts from laughing so much! Right when I got to the event, I bumped into Brooke, and immediately squealed with delight. She’s celebrating nine months of moving back to LA, and I always love seeing her when I’m in town! Lastly, I loved catching up with Megan and finally meeting her husband John. They are so ridiculously lovely, and I can’t say enough amazing things about them!
