Hooray! The Target Alexis Collection is almost here. Friends, the Target Designer Dress collections are looking phenomenal this year, and the Target x Alexis capsule line is no different. Today, I’m taking you behind-the-scenes to feature every single style from the Alexis for Target line. In fact, we’ll review the prices, dates to shop, and the best tips to make sure that you get what you want.
Frankly friends, the collections are going to FLY. First, the prices are SO good. Plus, this is Target’s most size inclusive collection to date. Whether you’re planning to shop Target Christopher John Rogers, Target Rixo, or the Target Alexis collection, rest assured that every single dress will sell-out.
Target Alexis Collection
First, are you familiar with ALEXIS? The brand was founded by a mother-daughter duo, Alexis Barbara Isaias and Ana Barbara. Since 2018, they’ve been designing a feminine contemporary collections. Additionally, the ALEXIS for Target features effortless dresses that are great for special occasions and work.
History of the Target Designer Dress Collections
The Target Alexis collection is part of Target’s Designer Dress Collection. In fact, 2021 marks the second installment of this series, and I have no doubt they’ll continue to do it. In 2020, Target collaborated with LoveShackFancy, In fact, my gut says that Los Angeles-based brand, Rhode and also Staud are on deck for 2022. I’d also love to see SIKA, but Target typically sticks with U.S.-based brands. Anyway, I digress… 🙂
When to Shop the Target Alexis Collection
Ready to shop the Target Alexis Collection? Well, the line will officially launch on Sunday, May 16th at 2 AM CST on Target.com. Furthermore, the Alexis x Target line will be available at select Target retail stores, which you can find here. Also, I love the fact Target has the buy and pick-up in store options. First, you can do curbside pick-up (which is SO seamless and easy). Also, you can buy, go in-store and just pick-up the items there.
Target x Alexis Prices
Similar to the Christopher John Rogers and Rixo collections, Alexis for Target dresses retail from $40-$60. Overall, there are 25 styles to shop, including this beautiful blue floral option, X, and X. Typically, Alexis dresses are pretty expensive, ranging from upwards of $400-$60. Therefore, the Target Alexis dresses are a STEAL. In fact, I remember renting this gown from Rent the Runway for a photo shoot in California. The price of that rental is the same price as one of the Target Alexis dresses itself. Go figure! Therefore, if your heart has been set on getting an Alexis dress, this is the time to do so!

As always, these pieces fall within the typical Target return policy. Frankly, I don’t know why you’d need to return anything unless you decide to buy two sizes and see which one fits best.
