I can’t resist a colorful coat, and this pastel option from J. Crew is no exception. See more details in today’s post along with a few “adulting” items we have on our to-do list for the week ahead.

Happy Friday, friends! Hard to believe it’s already October! Looking forward to a low-key fall weekend which will include a continuation of a few home projects as well as some time outdoors enjoying the crisp weather. Have a great day ahead!
Happy Friday, friends! Yesterday, our sweet friend Allie stopped by for lunch. Seeing her was SO good for my soul. We had a blast catching up (albeit briefly). On another note, I’m sharing a round-up of the best links of the week.
A subtle, low-key dress for casual evenings at home, lol! Thrilled to share this frilly blue statement dress along with my favorite links from around the web.

This fabulous Eliza J dress will be included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020. The fit and flare dress is beyond amazing, and I know you’ll love having it in your closet.
A few months ago, we took these pics during a weekend trip to NYC. I absolutely love this location, not only because of the classic architecture of the New York Public Library, it’s also only a stone’s throw away from The Langham – a personal Manhattan fave. At the time, I thought “these florals make me excited for the spring season ahead and all the trips and activities we’re planning!” My how things have changed!
To celebrate the first weekend of spring, we had snow in Chicago. Yes, snow. Seems fitting for the times and how strange the world feels right now. Regardless, I’m putting myself in a sunny mindset and reminiscing of our recent trip to NYC (where we took photos of this floral maxi).
