Bring on the ultimate cozy and comfortable sweaters! We’re releasing not one, not two, but three perfect sweaters for our Holiday 2020 capsule collection. Over the years, I’ve struggled to find the ultimate sweater. Often, they’re too short, too long, too scratchy, too tight… the list goes on and on. When Sail to Sable tapped me for another line, I created a new task: design an amazing Style Charade holiday sweater. Best of all, we created two!
The “Faith” Bow Back Sweater
Meet the Faith Bow Back Sweater! Gah, I am head over bow heels in love with this style. In fact, I’ve been wearing my samples non-stop around the home. Let’s call this the ultimate “Zoom sweater.” Seriously.
I designed both versions to be trimmed in black. Why? So you don’t get any makeup on the collar. Does that happen to you?! My foundation, even those that claim they are “transfer proof,” always get on the collars of blouses and sweaters. This black trim helps avoid this mishap! Plus, it gives an extra fun detail into the mix.
The Sail to Sable team and I love this one so much we designed it in two color options. First, we did a winter white with black bow detail, and another in red and black.
The Faith Bow Back Sweater retails for $148, and it’s available in sizes XXS-3X. I found this bow back sweater style fits true to size!
The “Elizabeth” Style Charade Sweater
Next up – meet the ultimate LBS (little black sweater). Friends, I dare you to match this sweater’s fabric, fit, and design for the price. Elizabeth is my middle name, and I truly believe this Style Charade sweater is timeless.
The length is perfect – not too long, not too short. Also, the fabric is luxe, rich, and warm! My favorite detail though? The bell sleeve – an intricate but important detail to take the style up a notch.
Yes, there are a lot of sweaters on the market. However, I truly believe this sweater is one you’ll get in the mail and immediately love. Plus, you can dress it up or dress it down. You can style it with white/black/blue jeans, leggings, sequin pants, cropped pants, joggers, skirts, maxi skirts, and beyond. The options are endless. Plus, it doesn’t pill easily, and it’ll travel well! This style also retails for $148 and fits true to size.
In Closing
In case you haven’t seen it, please check out a preview of the Sue Tulle Dress and Charlotte Sequin Dress from the line! I hope you love the way that everything is coming together. It makes me so so happy to know you’re cheering me on! Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing the last style followed by a complete guide to the collection. Stay tuned!
I recently came across your blog and I love it! It’s what I needed to get inspired with fashion! I was curious to know where you took the picture with the little black sweater and pink sequin pants from Zara? The background is bright pink. I hope its somewhere local in Chicago. I look forward reading the rest of your blog.
Thanks,
Elsa
