Hi, friends! I’m delighted to share a complete guide to the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Spring dress collection. Today, I’m taking you behind-the-scenes of the design process along with sharing the launch details, including the collection launch date, sizes, fits, fabrics, and beyond.
This season has been a labor of love, and I sincerely hope you love each piece as much as I do! In my sixth season with Sail to Sable, my goal was to design utterly effortless pieces. Those go-to items in your closet that eliminate the stress of what to wear each day. Dresses that feel (and look) fabulous from day to dusk and from desk to drinks.

Style Charade Spring Dress Collection
What can you expect for the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Spring dress collection? Dresses. All dresses, of course! It’s my favorite category of apparel, and I love designing pieces that feel missing from my closet. Every style was designed to fill a void in my wardrobe, and items that I know that I’ll keep in my wardrobe forever. From a marvelous maxi dress to the most chic color block midi dress, spring 2022 features five styles.
This season was also inspired by the pastels and crystal blue waters of Bermuda. The Caribbean island is a relaxing destination filled with phenomenal hues. Think beautiful blues, pinks, and crisp white.
Every single item features a breezy silhouette to help in the transition from the remote lifestyle to a new era of style. These pieces are fashionable yet functional at the same time.
The capsule collection consists of five total dresses in my favorite colors – pink and blue. Every dress will be available in sizes XXS – 3X. There’s a mix of stripes, eyelets, color block designs, and lovely lace details.
Style Charade Spring Dress Capsule Launch Date
The Sail to Sable x Style Charade dresses will officially launch on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10 AM ET / 9 AM CT / 7 AM PT on SailtoSable.com and select retailers. More on that later!
Charlotte Seersucker Dress
We’re bringing back two (yes two!) Charlotte dresses, our bestselling style. It’s been a joy to see the Charlotte dress gain a cult following the past couple years! For Charlotte dress lovers, these two styles are positively perfect in every way. I shrieked when I received them both in the mail. I’m confident you’ll adore them too.
Also, drumroll please…. we added POCKETS. Yes, both Charlotte dresses this season now have pockets – a request that we’ve been hearing from customers the past few seasons. Each Charlotte dress is also fully lined, and the fabrics are gorgeous in-person. Moreover, I designed two distinct styles for Charlotte. They have unique personalities and work for various occasions.
The first option is the Charlotte Seersucker Dress ($228) featuring a seersucker blue and white fabric fabric with lace trim detail. This dress happened to be the very first piece I designed with the Sail to Sable team last year. It just screams spring, and a dress you can wear to work, pack on a vacation, or simply wear on the weekend with friends or family. The blouson sleeve was designed to be worn up or down, and the lace details are placed at each tier.
Charlotte Dress in Pink Gingham with Eyelet
Next up? The Charlotte Dress in pink gingham with eyelet ($228). Can’t you see wearing this dress on a boat off the coast of Italy or on a vespa in Greece? It’s feminine, regal, and totally timeless. The pink gingham with eyelet detail fabric is one of my favorites this season.
Friends – this will be a major compliment-inducing dress. When you wear it out on the town, people will pull you aside and ask where you got it. How do I know? Because it literally happened to me multiple times when wearing it out in Chicago for the first time. It’s a stunner! Again, it has pockets and fully lined with no zipper (a Charlotte staple, of course).
Marie Maxi Dress
Last spring, we unveiled a new silhouette to the Sail to Sable x Style Charade spring dress collection – the Marie Maxi Dress at Ocean House. Honestly, we were SHOCKED at the response as it sold out within 24 hours, and the wait list was insane. Moreover, we couldn’t keep up with the restock demand. It was eye opening and SO cool to see the love for the new style.
This season, I wanted to do a different take on it that felt unique for the season. The Marie Maxi Dress ($248) is fully lined and features a small puff sleeve with tunic neckline and tiered skirt. The sleeve is super comfortable, and it adds even more dimension to the dress. You’ll adore the beautiful striped fabric in pink and white cotton jacquard. Lastly, we added pockets this season (yay!).
Gail Tunic Dress
The Gail Tunic Dress ($198) in stripe seersucker is back and better than ever! For spring, we’ve reimagined this A-line tunic with the blue and white seersucker fabric, along with a scalloped tunic neckline with gold thread. This is one of the pieces that will also be sold on Tuckernuck with good reason! This dress is fully lined and features no zipper (hooray), and the epitome of spring elegance.
Anne Color Block Dress
Oh hi Anne! The Anne Dress ($218) is an instant crowd pleaser and one of our bestselling styles season after season. For Spring 2022, I wanted to give you a chic color block option in andy pink and hydrangea blue. Best of all, we designed it in a poly crepe fabric to make it easy to steam and pack for any vacation.
Similar to Charlotte, the Anne dresses also have a cult following. I honestly can’t pick a favorite between the two as they are SO different. Midi dresses are my go-to style for work as I love they hit below the knee but still show off your shoes. The Anne Dress is also extremely versatile and can be paired with sandals, platforms, sneakers, heels, and espadrilles.
It’s fully lined with blouson puff sleeve, tiered skirt, and no zipper!
Style Charade Spring Dress Collection Prices
My goal with each Sail to Sable collection is to make items as reasonably priced as possible. For that reason, the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Spring dress collection all retail under $250. Each piece retails between $198-$248. The collection will be sold at SailtoSable.com, along with Tuckernuck and independent retailers.
Style Charade Spring Dress Fit Guide
This season, the fits are relatively true to size. However, if you’re between sizes, I’d recommend sizing DOWN one size. For example, I typically wear a small, and I find that I can wear either a small or XS in the Marie Maxi. If you like a breezy fit, order your size. But if you like something a bit more fitted, size down.
Restocks
Unlike previous seasons, we will NOT be restocking the Spring 2022 collection. The reason? We have amazing retailers who have picked up the line! Therefore, I will keep you updated on any styles that launch at individual retailers, and when/where you can purchase them when the items sell-out from Sail to Sable‘s website.
Sail to Sable x Style Charade Spring Dress Return Policy
Returns happen! Granted, we’re confident you’ll love the items. 🙂 But in the rare event you need to make a return or exchange for a different size, please read this section carefully.
The collection return window will be 7 days after you’ve received your item in the mail to receive a refund in the form of original payment. Returns received after 7 days will receive Sail to Sable store credit to be used on future purchases.
Since most items sell-out, we’d hate to leave valued customers waiting for months. Sail to Sable team is a small independent business. Patience with their customer service team is greatly appreciated. We want (and need) to set them up for success; this return window helps us do so. Thanks for understanding!
