Holiday 2024 marks our 14th season, and I’m emotional writing these words. What a journey, what an experience. Since 2020, we’ve aimed to bring effortless and elegant styles to your closet. Every single thread of this process is very much thanks to you and your ongoing friendship and support through the years.
You are part of the magic in the making of the STS x SC collection. We take your feedback very seriously, and try to adjust styles and make each season better than the last.
So this season? We are ready to dress and impress. 🙂 Starting Thursday, October 24th, our limited-edition capsule collection will be available on Sail to Sable’s website, Dillards, and specialty boutiques and retailers.
Before diving in, I also need to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire Sail to Sable team for their continued friendship and support. Who would have thought we’d be able to continue working together for all these seasons? I’m in awe of them and truly believe the best is yet to come. We’re only getting started!
Moreover, I’m beyond grateful for Abby Widger and Allie Provost for joining me in New York City (an easy commute for them both, lol). We had such an amazing weekend together capturing the collection. Thank you, friends!
Today, I wanted to give you a window into the design process and a behind-the-scenes look into how we brought it to life.
Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday 2024
Holiday is easily one of my favorite seasons to design with the STS team. Year after year, we challenge ourselves to create new silhouettes and styles to meet your everyday and special occasion outfit needs. From casual and effortless pieces to more special occasion options, I sincerely know this new collection offers something for everyone.
So what can expect from our new collection? Versatile, elevated, and totally memorable pieces. I’m SO excited to show you what we have in store, including five new silhouettes – items you’ve never seen before.
The 10-piece collection will retail in price from $198 – $298. Pretty much everything fits true to size, and best of all – we’ve gone back to the original return policy. In the past, we’ve had issues with panic ordering (i.e., shoppers buying multiple sizes in one style). Listen, I’m SO honored you all love the collections. Plus, I’m not trying to throw any shade anyones’ way – truly!
However, for a small company like Sail to Sable, it’s tricky to have people ordering multiple sizes of several styles, and then return them weeks later and the holiday season is over. First world problems, I know. But it became a very big issue a couple years ago, so we moved to a shorter return window for store credit only.
Now, we are going back to a 30-day return policy based on the original form of payment you made. Again, we take your feedback seriously and made adjustments to work best for you. At the same time, please do your best to try to only order your size so everyone can enjoy the pieces. We’d sincerely appreciate it!
Ava Sequin Maxi Dress
Let’s start with our ultimate statement piece – the Ava Sequin Maxi Dress. Since its debut last spring, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support to the silhouette and style. In fact, our summer Ava Dress sold out within the first week; we couldn’t restock it fast enough!
Therefore, I’m incredibly excited to unveil something new.
For Holiday 2024, we’re unveiling the ever-so ultra glam Ava Sequin Maxi Dress. I’m CRAZY excited about this style, as I’m confident it’s a head turner and the ultimate compliment inducing style. Wear it just once to a party, and you’ll be stopped at every turn to hear positive feedback on the dress.
Moreover, the dress is fully lined and features a tie waist to give added shape to your waist. Looking for a great bra to wear with this style? I highly recommend products from NOOD, especially this tape. It’s the perfect option to keep your assets supported when wearing the style. 🙂 If you’re in between sizes, I would suggest going down from your regular size.
Hudson Sequin Dress
Midnight blue is one of my favorite hues, especially for the holiday season. Our Hudson Dress style is back and better than ever with a sparkly upgrade. Our signature sequin creates a graceful drape in this feminine and flirty style. It’s easy to dress up or dress down, and a great option for New Year’s Eve and other holiday parties.

Black Ella Dress
You know I love a little black dress, and we took our super popular Ella dress to create the ultimate LBD. This gorgeous black dress is trimmed with velvet ric rac, a luxurious design detail that was a must in my mind.
Ella is fondly named after Bob’s grandmother, and it’s a silhouette just like her – timeless. We hear season after season how much you adore this dress, and it’s easy to see why. The Ella Dress comes with a removable belt, so it can be worn open and/or with or without the belt.
Moreover, it’s extremely versatile and can be dressed up with heels and a clutch or dressed down with sneakers and a tote bag. Truly a bunch of ways to wear it to suit every occasion.

Anne Sequin Midi Dress
After a few seasons (and a major call from the audience to bring her back), we are delighted to share the return of the Anne Dress! This midnight blue sequin dress FLEW off the site the first time we sold it. In fact, we couldn’t keep it in stock, and it never returned again. Therefore, we chose to bring it back for Holiday 2024 so more of you can get your hands on it.
The effortless Anne silhouette is amazing for nights on the town when you want to be able to move, dance, and enjoy the night away. Anne comes with pockets, fully lined, and it’s the ultimate comfortable sequin dress.
Like Charlotte, I designed these two styles since I saw a void in the market for stylish but effortless sequin dresses. Everywhere I turned, body con styles were (and still) are prevalent. Who wants to be wearing a skin-tight dress at midnight when you’re just hoping to enjoy a fashionable and fun evening? Plus, friends – we’ve all been in those bathrooms with women battling to work with those dresses in stalls, lol.

Dylan Emerald Tweed Jacket
In another of “firsts,” meet the first Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday 2024 Dylan Emerald Tweed Jacket – our very first outerwear piece. As a lifelong Chicagoan, jackets and coats are a necessity nearly all year. Rain, sleet, and snow are always in play, and our coat closets are always filled to the brim with styles for all occasions.
Our Emerald Tweed Jacket blends fashion and function. I’m so incredibly proud of this piece, as it’s likely unlike anything you currently own. Sure, we have our puffer jackets, rain coats, and trench coats. But there is always a need for a sleek, stylish, elevated coat that can be worn for special occasions.

Dylan Emerald Tweed Dress
In addition to the gorgeous jacket, I’m delighted to share a gorgeous emerald tweed dress. We’ve perfected this silhouette to be a fit and flare with glamorous gold button details on the front. There’s a zip down the back, making it easy to take on and off.
I love styling this with tights or boots, heels, and beyond. It’s extremely versatile, and the luxe fabric has a slight shimmer to it making it both dressy and casual depending on your accessories. For this style, if you’re in between sizes, I suggest going up one size.

Luna Tweed Top
Say “hello” to our first ever tweed top – the Luna. How chic is she? I love styling this piece with black jeans or faux cropped leather pants. It also works with a midi or pencil skirt.
We designed the Luna Tweed Top with puff sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. It’s SOOOO chic, and I sincerely believe will be a classic piece you’ll have in your closet forever. For this style, if you’re in between sizes, I suggest going up one size.

Style Charade Holiday 2024 Harper Layered Dress
I am SO excited to talk about this new silhouette and style. This is a two-in-one combination dress featuring a navy sweater and plaid pleated dress underneath. The dress and sweater can be worn together or separately, making it easily an amazing investment for multiple looks.
This is my go-to travel dress this season, as I can wear the dress to meetings and dinner, the sweater separately with jeans, and the dress alone for a special date night. SO many ways to customize this to suit your needs.

For the first time ever, we are excited to unveil our Amelia Sequin Tiered Midi Skirt. Midi skirts are my absolute favorite length – especially when the weather is cold. First, I love the style can still off your shoes while also giving you extra length for warmth.
