As I shared earlier, we love staying at The American Club when we visit Bob’s family in Wisconsin. It’s so serene, especially in winter. During our last trip, I brought along this red buffalo plaid vest. It was the perfect layer to have under my coat when the temps dropped.
On our last visit, we grabbed lunch at the Whistling Straits restaurant. It’s a short drive from the main property and allowed for more exploration. In the summer, the dining destination is teeming with activity from all the golfers. In winter, it’s much more laid back and cozy. Plus, the farmhouse environment is just too darling for words!
