Happy Wednesday! For me, today’s a bit of a Monday, since I was off from work yesterday and the day before. One of my dear friend’s from college stayed at our home the past couple nights, as she was passing through Chicago. She works in education and has stayed home in her apartment in Boston since March. Given that she has summer off, she decided to drive home and spend time with her parents before the fall semester starts. Luckily, her timing coincided with my long weekend, so she was able to spend time with us! Since the weather was so nice, we spent a ton of time outside on our patio. It was so good for the soul to chat, laugh, and reminisce with her.
