Today, I wanted to showcase a new capsule collection by Gen of Pencil & Paper Co. In fact, this happens to be one of my first pieces from the brand, so I wanted to also do a Printfresh Review. But in case you’re unfamiliar, Printfresh features handcrafted, beautiful designed sleepwear made out of 100% organic cotton and so much more.
In 2016, Amy Voloshin and Leo Voloshin co-founded Printfresh. Voloshin is a textile designer and fashion entrepreneur, and she utilized her skills to build this fantastic brand. In fact, Printfresh is a majority woman-owned business based in Philadelphia. Both Amy and Leo actually live on a vineyard along with their two kids. Love that!
If you’re new to the brand, I’m confident you’ll love the styles as much I do. Simply put – the collection adds a dose of fun, whimsy, and color to your summer and sleepwear attire. I’m a fan!
Printfresh Review
Printfresh started with pajamas and has since expanded to other categories, including home décor, accessories (headbands, shoes, jewelry, bags, etc.), dresses, menswear, and beyond. Additionally, the prints are inspired by plants and animal prints. The collection is just bright and fun, and they even did a small capsule collection with Anthropologie, which you can find here.
Furthermore, I love learning more about their design, manufacturing, and production process. The designs start as gouache paintings and then transformed into digital illustrations. From there, the unique patterns are hand screen printed or embroidered on 100% GOTS organic cotton.
Pencil & Paper Co x Printfresh Collection
New to Pencil & Paper Co? The Nashville-based brand is the brainchild of Gen Sohr. A self-proclaimed “multi-hyphenate entrepreneur” is known for her signature style, and she loves delivering a curated mix of style, travel, and home content. Prior to actually meeting and chatting with Gen, I happened to stumble upon her mural at her Nashville store. Too fun!
Additionally, Pencil & Paper Co. has worked with the brand before. In fact, I remember Gen including several items from Printfresh in her P+P Creative Club monthly mailer, including this cosmetic case (which I still use and love).
This particular collection includes 11 styles, including pajamas, dresses, and kaftans. I personally chose this style since I loved the effortless silhouette. Plus, it can be belted or worn open depending on your mood. Best of all, it’s $132 in floral safari scarlet. From my research, the Out & About is crafted out of poplin and features a hand screen-printed fabric.
What’s the price point of the collection?
To note, the Pencil & Paper Co and Printfresh collection ranges in retail price from $78-$228.
When does the collection launch?
The Pencil & Paper Co x Printfresh collection launches today, June 28th on Printfresh’s website. Click to shop the entire collection of items.
What sizes will be available?
The Pencil & Paper Co x Printfresh collection is available in sizes include XXS – 4X. Check out the size guide here for more information.
Printfresh Review – In Closing
Be sure to checkout the Pencil & Paper Co. capsule collection with Printfresh. My Printfresh review is simple – the styles are beautiful, the fabrics are lightweight and breathable, and the patterns and prints are extremely unique. Additionally, the price point is reasonable and worth every penny.
I’m confident that you’ll love the pieces as much as I do. They are truly lightweight, breathable and fantastic.
