Today, I’m thrilled to share my first Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview for 2022! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale online inventory officially dropped today, and I wanted to share some top items that caught my eye first. Also, since this blog post marks my first official Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview, I want (and frankly need) to state a few things. First, I recommend making a budget and try to stick to it. This is key! Furthermore, never ever ever feel pressured by me (or anyone else for that matter) to buy anything. At. All. With inflation and rising costs on gas, food, and everything in between – it’s okay to pass on this year or keep your wish list extremely small.
For nearly a decade, I’ve covered this sale. Heck, I’ve taken boats, trains, ferries, and rental cars to get to my nearest Nordstrom on NSale Icon Days, lol. I authentically and wholeheartedly love it. Since I was little, I loved finding a good deal, and I’m always on the lookout for pieces to round out my wardrobe. Therefore, I am genuinely excited for today’s preview.

However, let me be clear – I plan to approach the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale very differently this year. First, the blog and my Instagram account will focus on a curated selection of items. I won’t be purchasing 100’s of items or doing haul-like shopping sprees. No thanks. Instead, I’m planning to do a quick dressing room try-on here or there to showcase what’s catches my eye IRL. At the end of the day, I’ll be focused on what I authentically love and buy.
On the other hand, my LTK channel will dive much deeper into selections for those of you who are ready (and wanting) to shop the sale. In fact, my LTK page will feature very comprehensive previews and guides, round-ups of top trends, themes, and outfit ideas. For those who know me, I leave no stone uncovered when it comes to Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, lol. Therefore, my LTK page will be filled with a plethora of tips, tricks, and advice.
In short, this year’s sale is a “choose your own adventure.”
Listen, the sale has the ability to spark fatigue among shoppers (even me). Therefore, I promise to keep things focused. In doing so, I hope you’ll come back, bookmark posts, and shop for things that catch your eye.

Best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview Dresses
Also, I’m SO happy to have received several previews from brands for the 2022 NSale. Truly more first looks than I’ve ever been granted before. From what I’ve seen (and personally tried on/styled), this year’s sale has some major gems – especially the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview dresses.
To start, Eliza J is back and better than ever. There are two styles that I especially love – this floral frock and teal fit & flare dress. Both retail under $100 (originally $158 and $148, respectively), and they’re both perfect for work. Here’s the catch – Eliza J offered a similar floral dress last year. Therefore, if you bought that style, you probably don’t think you need this one. If you didn’t get your hands on it, the 2022 option is even prettier in my opinion. The color scheme is chic, subtle, and elegant. It feels more elevated.
The teal fit and flare dress is divine. The silhouette is extremely flattering for all body types, and I can style it in a billion different ways. For shoes, I can easily picture it with sneakers, boots, heels, wedges, and even espadrilles. Jewelry? Add gold accents or even turquoise. Best of all, this can be styled with tights which can take you from early fall well into winter.
Also, Veronica Beard’s dresses this year are FIRE. Friends, expect a LOT of talk about Veronica Beard during my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview posts. Holy guacamole – it’s their best selection during NSale ever ever ever.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Blazers and Jackets
This perfectly leads me into Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blazers and jackets. It’s no surprise Veronica Beard takes the cake in this category. But here’s the catch – every single jacket in their lineup is great. Every year, I find one or two options that don’t suit my personal style. 2022? Their entire blazer lineup is incredible.
From a blush rose blazer with silver button details to the most marvelous maroon option, tweed lined with black to a puff sleeve blazer in tweed and blue, VB fans – you’re going to lose your minds like me, lol. The fabrics and fits do not disappoint. I found the blazers to fit true to size (I wear a size 4).
In terms of other jackets, some other more affordable options that caught my eye were this one and this one.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shoes
Basically, I typically only shop three brands during the sale. They always have been and likely always will be. These include Marc Fisher, Steve Madden, and Vince Camuto. Why? First, their price points are always fantastic. Footwear shouldn’t always have to cost a fortune, and I love how they come out with unique styles from season to see.
This year, I wanted to stock up on a neutral sneaker, sandals, new boots (my current ones are a little worse for wear after traveling a lot for work), and pumps.

Now that we’ve purchased a lake home, we’re starting at square one for accessories, art, and everything in between. Unlike last year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will help us get ahead of some of those purchases for the new home. In fact, we’ll likely put a lot of budget towards this category.
An easy purchase that won’t break the bank? Hydro Flasks. Currently, I own two of them. I keep one at home and the other at work. I use them every single day, and I want to purchase one for Bob and also a couple to keep at our lake home. The cost per use of these things is ridiculous!
Also, if you’re in the market for appliances, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great option to save money. Based on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview, there are several cool appliances and tech gadgets to keep an eye on. My top pick is the Vitamix 7500 Blender.
Lastly, I say it every year, but my favorite (and non-regretted) purchase are Barefoot Dreams blankets. Beyond buying them for our new home, I love stocking up on one to two options each year to gift to friends and family. They make a great gift for everyone – kids, parents, grandparents, etc. Plus, they also work for all occasions – housewarming, birthday, graduation, and anniversary gifts.
Best of all, every time I gift a blanket to someone, they call me months later to say they can’t imagine life without it. Cozy, soft, and cuddly. They are pure magic!
Best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty
For beauty, I don’t plan to buy a lot. In fact, I’m likely only going to get this lip kit from Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve been having a lot of luck with Charlotte Tilbury products this year from lipsticks to their setting spray. This set will be perfect to bring to Nantucket this year, and it’s a great deal at $59.
In the past, I’ve purchased La Mer products and sets, but I have plenty in back stop right now so it’s not needed this year. But if you’re a La Mer fan, the sets are a really great price.
Lastly, many of my friends swear by styling tools for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Specifically, T3. From what I’ve seen, most of their products don’t make it past Early Access to Public Access. This year could be different, but it’s just something I’ve noticed the past few years.

It’s truly hard to believe that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access starts for Icon members on July 6, 2022. Seeing as it’s my favorite shopping event of the year, I wanted to share pieces that caught my attention.
