When is the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
This year’s Anniversary Sale will start in July 2024. Keep in mind, Nordstrom cardholders and NordyClub members will have exclusive early access to this incredible sale event. Early Access for cardholders begins before public access dates!
Early Access dates to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is reserved for Nordstrom cardholders. NSale shoppers get early access to thousands of new items at reduced prices. Don’t have a Nordstrom card yet? Visit this link to apply. It’s very easy! The sale will open to everyone on a couple weeks weeks after the debut of Early Access.
While Nordstrom holds half-yearly sales each spring and fall, the anniversary sale is legendary among Nordstrom customers. Why? Well, they can purchase exciting new fall merchandise at discounted prices before it becomes available to the public! I usually end up buying all of my fall/winter items during this preseason sale.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 Catalog
Previously, I shared a full post about the debut of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Catalog.
Typically, Nordstrom previews each and every item in the Anniversary Sale online prior to the start of Early Access shopping. As such, it makes planning for the sale easier than ever before! They will do so again for 2024; the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale online preview typically launches in late June!
Most years, I often purchased winter coats, blazers, cardigans, and shoes. Naturally, I was able to include them in several capsule wardrobes. For me, I typically avoid overly-trendy items and focus on classic, versatile pieces. It’s also a great opportunity to stock up on beauty essentials and expensive hair and skincare tools.
Each year, Nordstrom cardholders get to shop the Anniversary Sale before it opens to the public. Cardmembers shop seven days before everyone else and can unlock exclusive perks. During this Pre-Sale, many of the most popular items go out of stock quickly! Apply for a Nordstrom card now to receive Anniversary Sale Early Access when it begins.
Early Access Dates for Cardholders
Early Access will give you the first chance to snag brand-new arrivals at super-sale prices for the sale. During the Anniversary Sale, all Nordy Club Nordstrom cardmembers receive Early Access to shop. See the breakdown of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dates from last year below.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Icon Access
Nordy Club cardmembers with Icon or Ambassador status will have even more time to shop Early Access, as those categories are allowed to begin shopping earlier than everyone else. Nordy Club Icon members have sale access a few days before anyone else, and Ambassador members can begin thereafter! Online shopping access will begin at 12:01 AM ET on their respective date!
You’ll also earn Rewards points while you shop– it’s win-win! Nordstrom Rewards customers earn points on every net purchase made in stores and online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook. Every 2,000 points gets you a $20 Nordstrom Note to use online or in-stores.
One important tip? Make it a Double Points Day during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Schedule try-ons with your favorite sales associate or online during checkout at Nordstrom.com .
The Nordy Club, the company’s loyalty program, is also getting in on the Anniversary Sale fun. Nordy Club is free to join. Moreover, it provides rewards at a faster earning rate, special access to services, and personalized experiences.
Getting first access to Anniversary Sale items is a huge perk. Things go out of stock QUICKLY during Early Access. Nordstrom restocks items periodically throughout the sale. Regardless, there were so many pieces I regretted not buying before they sold out. Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s nice to have the option to see merchandise before the general public.
This event doesn’t require a coupon code like other sales. The anniversary sale products will be categorized on the website. They will display both the discounted price as well as how much it will cost full-price after the sale. If you visit Nordstrom in-person, anniversary sale items will be separated from the other merchandise by curtained sections.
Preparing for the Sale
I highly recommend purchasing online , and choosing the Store Pickup option to avoid crowds and sifting through everything! Click here to find a Nordstrom store location near you. Don’t even want to leave your car? Choose curbside pick up instead.
In addition to their buy online pick up in store, and curbside pickup options, Nordstrom offers affordable expedited shipping. This way, you won’t have to wait for your new NSale finds! I use this option most often, because the stores can get so crazy during the anniversary sale.
Best of all? If the items are in-stock from your local store, you can have them delivered the SAME DAY for just $15. Orders placed by 4PM will be delivered by 8pm the same day. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered the following day (even on Saturdays and Sundays). Sometimes I’ll set my local store in the search results, so I can see everything in-stock. Select tabs at the top of any page to begin to narrow your search by department or brand name. You can then use the filter dropdown menus above the search results. Target your search, but remember that choosing more options will yield fewer results.

2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Size Guide
Another great way to prepare for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is to familiarize yourself with the various size guides. For each apparel and shoe product page, Nordstrom embeds the size guide within the sizing dropdown menu. Regardless, it’s always worthwhile to do some research beforehand. First, identify the brands you love most and will likely shop. Then, head over to their pages to compare and contrast the size guides for your favorite products. Knowing how the alpha sizing works for your body type and whether something might run large or small will help in the long run!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Buys
Typically, Nordstrom host an Anniversary Sale Beauty Bash event in all U.S. and Canada stores. In the past, this event featured access to hundreds of beauty exclusives, complimentary consultations, and applications. Plus, a limited-edition Nordstrom tote with a $125 cosmetics purchase. Glam-Up Days have taken place daily in stores throughout the sale. Enjoy free samples and expert tips from brands including MAC, La Mer, Jo Malone, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown and Kiehl’s.
