The Most Instagrammable Places in Scottsdale
Without further ado, I’m excited to share the best photo spots in Scottsdale below. Frankly, I could feature every more options beyond this list below. The desert destination is full of great photography places and spaces. You really can’t go wrong, and I’m excited to visit again!
The Saguaro Scottsdale
Address: 4000 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ
Much like it’s Palm Spring counterpart (seen in my candid hotel review and also fashion post), The Saguaro Scottsdale is an Instagrammer’s dream! Friends, we’re talking major colorful walls and vignettes. Plus the staff is SO friendly! Trust me, after visiting a lot of hotels in my years, I always appreciate a hotel that encourages you to take photos. Therefore, Saguaro Scottsdale is definitely a must-stop photo destination in Scottsdale!
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA)
Address: 7374 E 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
One step into this intimate museum will have you falling immediately in love. From the exterior-meets-interior design elements by Dalek to the rotating exhibits of Claudio Dicochea, Luis Alfonso Villalobos, and more, there is so much to experience at SMoCA. In one of the colorful rooms below, the four of us had an absolute blast playing on the swivel chairs and filming goofy videos! Lastly, check out the SMoCA’s website.
Always Sunny in Scottsdale Mural at Hotel Valley Ho
Address: 6850 East Main Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Truer words have never been spoken. With 299 days of sunshine every year, Scottsdale truly owns this message! Created by Pandr Design Co., this mural is just so cheerful! Given that it’s located poolside at Hotel Valley Ho, it’s not the most accessible photo op, but the staff at the hotel were so lovely to direct us where to go. While you’re there, be sure to stop and have a bite to eat at ZuZu!
Desert Botanical Gardens
Address: 1201 N. Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 85008
We had the most incredible afternoon at the Desert Botanical Gardens. From the fun colorful sculptures to the butterfly exhibit, it’s so easy to get lost in this gorgeous landscape! Admission to DBG is about $25 per person, and be sure to bring some bottled water with you! Also, it’s a really popular place for weddings. Therefore, keep an eye out for lots of gorgeous formal gowns around every corner!
Pink Wall at Sugar Bowl Ice Cream Parlor
4005 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Every town needs a pretty pink wall, right?! Enter Sugar Bowl Ice Cream Parlor. This iconic establishment has been around for 60 years. Plus, the inside is even cuter thank the pink and red striped exterior! It’s such a blast from the past! Also, I love the red and white striped awnings. Frankly, it’s small details like these window coverings that make it extra special.
Diego Pops
Address: 4338 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
In the first place, our late lunch at Diego Pops was easily one of our favorite meals of the weekend. Not only were the tacos and margaritas delicious, but the décor was just too cute for words! If you get the chance to go, you MUST order the brussels sprouts nachos. In fact, Kit even recreated the recipe!
Růže Cake House
Address: 7033 E Main St #100, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Looking for a fun pit stop for the sweet tooth in your life? If so, Růže Cake House absolutely needs to be added to your travel list. Plus, their iconic neon sign is perfect for photos, and choosing a macaroon flavor is almost impossible because the variety is almost endless! Moreover, their bobas drinks were SO good. Lastly, they create the most incredible custom cakes for all occasions.
This blog post and my weekend trip were sponsored by Experience Scottsdale, the Tourism Board. All opinions are my own.
