As I’ve mentioned before, finding new fashion designers is one of my favorite pass times. Enter Mira Mikati – the brainchild of the Lebanese-born, Paris-raised designer. Part playful and whimsy, part feminine and refined, the Mira Mikati brand is dynamic and different. You truly won’t find anything like it. It’s singular. 🙂
Mira’s eponymous brand is unapologetically cheerful yet refined. Also, don’t let the patterns fool you – she knows her stuff! In fact, her resume would make even Anna Wintour blush after attending Paris’s École Supérieure des arts et Techniques de la Mode at 17, Parsons New York and Central Saint Martins.
Mira Mikati
If you’re new to the brand, the colorful company is rooted in eternal optimism. I adore how she embraces whimsy, patterns, prints, bold hues and smile-inducing details. Furthermore, Mira and I share a love of both art and travel. She’s partnered with everyone from KAWS to Darcel, and she seems to integrate the world around her into her designs.
The collection is utterly infectious with its upbeat patterns and designs. Moreover, every piece is an immediate mood booster. Listen, the collection’s price point isn’t for the faint of heart. Plus, I don’t love everything in the line. Some items feature too playful of designs or loose silhouettes.
At the same time, some items feel like you’re investing in a work of art. Something that you’ll have in your closet forever, you know?
Mira Mikati Tie-Dye Shirtdress
This gorgeous Tie-Dye Tiered Shirtdress was my first ever purchase from the collection. It was love at first sight, and I sincerely hope it won’t be my last. Frankly, photos don’t even do this dress justice. The colors are beautiful in-person! The dress is also made out of a heavyweight stretch plain weave, which doesn’t wrinkle too easily.
Over time, I envision this dress being something that I can pack for work trips and/or long vacations. I’m also planning to dress is down with sneakers, layering a solid colored cardigan for fall and even pairing it with tights for winter. It’s very versatile!
Tory Burch Eleanor Bag
To complete this outfit, I paired the Mira Mikati dress with this fabulous Tory Burch Eleanor bag (also seen here in ivory). The COLOR! Gah! It’s really hard to find a handbag in a beautiful yellow tone. This bag does the trick, and I’m a huge fan. Plus, the bag has a versatile chain that allows me to wear it in a variety of ways.
Mia Becar Alessandra Heels
I’ve been wearing these beautiful bow heels on repeat! Mia Becar is just a phenomenal footwear brand. Have you checked them out? If not, be sure to stop by their website to see all of their different styles. From pumps to ballet flats, boots to sandals, they truly have something for everyone.
Overall, the Alessandra Heel is one of my favorite shoes of all-time (you can see the pink version styled in this blog post). Granted, bowls are always a good idea, right? 🙂 I chose to get the tan version since it’ll be super versatile for the seasons ahead.

What are some of your favorite new fashion designers? Be sure to check out Mira Mikati and let me know what you think! Again, not all of the styles may be your personal taste. However, there are some incredible hidden gems that you’ll be thankful that you added to your wardrobe.
