Day three Nantucket was pure magic – clear blue skies, mid-70’s, and sunny. Beautiful! We got a late start to the day and decided to grab a late lunch at Millie’s. I first learned about the restaurant from Mackenzie’s Nantucket Travel Guide which offers perfect recommendations for everything to do, what to eat, and where to stay on the island. Last year, Millie’s had a pop-up restaurant in town that we frequented. This year, we decided to head to their original location in Madaket. The views from the second floor of the main restaurant are incredible, and the Smith Point shrimp tacos are a personal fave. They offer a great range of salads, sandwiches, quesadillas, and beyond (full menu here).
From there, we drove to the Cliff Road area and passed by my personal dream home – 9 Lincoln Avenue (I call it the Nantucket Turquoise Home but its official name is “Point of View).” The 10 bedroom, 9 bathroom estate is currently on sale for only $18 million, which quite a steal given that it was listed for $27 million a few years ago (lol)! A steal, my friends! Here is a video tour of the property.
Later in the day, we walked around town and stopped by some of our favorite shops, including Murray’s, In the Pink and currentVintage. Bob buys a new ACK hat every year from Murray’s (and then wears it on repeat all year at home). As you may know, I love collecting vintage pieces, so currentVintage is a personal fave! I don’t often wear the items on the blog, but they’re always my go-to for events in Chicago.
As the sun was setting, we walked around the Old North Wharf area and chatted with some of the neighbors. Everyone is SO nice on the island, and I swear every other person asks me and Bob if we want a photo together (especially when we were taking these photos for the blog)! Too funny.
We still have a few more days on the island, and I’m fully convinced that someone will need to drag me away when it’s time to leave, haha! Today, we’re heading to coffee with Mollie of Mollie Moore Blog and her boyfriend, Connor. Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Instagram Stories.
Lastly, be sure to bookmark the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale page here. I created a separate tab so you can keep track of all of the updates. I’m going to be updating the page a LOT over the next few days, so definitely stop by early and often.
