One of my favorite aspects of being a part of the Creator industry is watching amazing people and brands come together to unveil special projects. Enter the new NavyBLEU x Margaret of York collection, a gorgeous line of dresses and skirts for the spring season ahead. In typical form, each piece is an attainable price point while exuding effortless style.
From the perfect little white dress to a marvelous printed midi skirt, you’ll find sleek pieces that are versatile and comfortable. It’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite from the line, but I wanted to showcase a couple of the styles and various ways you can wear them.
Margaret of York Collection
The Margaret of York collection is inspired by her gorgeous vacation home, Cove Hollow House, located in Watercolor, Florida. The four bedroom, four and a half bath rental house is a perfect reflection of her design style. Think bright, coastal, and serene. Therefore, her NavyBLEU styles are inspired by the beautiful patterns, prints, and colors she adores.
I specifically chose the Alice Skirt in Inkberry and Mimi Dress in Cobalt. Fun fact – cobalt blue is one of (if not) my favorite colors to wear. It’s one of those compliment-inducing hues, and pairs perfectly with other colors like red, emerald, and turquoise. While the Mimi Dress comes with a belt, I love styling with this belt (now sold in teal). Adds visual interest, you know? The Mimi Dress is also available in this version.
On the other hand, the Alice Skirt is sheer perfection. The tiered midi skirt is fully lined, and styles well with tank tops, t-shirts, white button-down shirts. In my case, I chose to style it with this gorgeous Veronica Beard vest. I’ll definitely be packing this piece for our trip to Nantucket this summer. So good!
In terms of other styles, they’ve designed the Maggie Dress in two different versions (white or inkberry). This v-neck midi dress is the ultimately breezy style – perfect for a beach or warm weather getaway.

Who is Margaret of York?
Maggie, founder of Margaret of York, is an amazing content creator, interior designer, and mom. Her Instagram account is full of amazing inspiration. Also, after knowing her for many years, I can attest to the fact that she’s an ultimate “girl’s girl.”
In fact, when we were renovating the lake home, we stumbled upon an issue with a brand. Knowing she’s so well connected in the design world, I reached out to ask for her advice. Specifically, our order was delayed by a significant period of time. We struggling with how to get any response from the company for many months.
Within minutes, she sent back voice notes with recommendations and advice. Wouldn’t you know it? The company finally responded to our emails the next day. I’m forever grateful for her help, and she’s been supportive for years and years. She’s amazing.
Who is Shop NavyBLEU?
I had the pleasure of meeting Shop NavyBLEU’s founder, Erin, at the New England Coastal Conference. She’s of those people who immediately puts you at ease, and was instantly kind, warm, and sweet. I liked her immediately.
She founded the brand in 2019 as a small batch resort wear collection. The collection is sold in more than 100 boutiques in the United States and also in the Caribbean.
In the past, they’ve collaborated with some of our all-time faves. These include Mackenzie Horan and her mom, Beth, Meredith Hanson, and Sarah Tucker and Molly Boyd. It’s a joy to watch them continue to work with amazing women who are doing phenomenal things!
