Hello Instagram Reels!

Instagram officially launched Reels on August 5th. Have you tried it yet? Get ready for dancing, ASMR, lip synching, and all the AR goodness. Haha! Thankfully, Instagram allowed us to preview Reels a week in advance, and we spent the vast majority of last weekend filming some fun clips (check them out here).

As someone who doesn’t dabble in video content for the blog, I needed the extra time to wrap my head around the functionality and features.

While I appreciated a few days’ head start to Reels, I’m a big believer that it’s important to bring others along for the ride. If you’re thinking about trying out Reels, I pulled together a big blog post on Wednesday with all of the info/advice that I know. I mean everything.

New Instagram Photo Series

For the first time ever, I’m going to be releasing a limited photo series on Instagram static posts in the weeks ahead. It’ll make more sense when the first image goes live. I hope you’ll participate, follow along, and get involved on the topic. More to come!
