Las Alcobas Napa Valley is California wine country’s newest boutique hotel, having opened in the spring of 2017. This St. Helena property boasts 68 guestrooms and suites, a spa, an outdoor pool, wellness center, and private event spaces. Additionally, it’s home to Acacia House, which is helmed by acclaimed chef Chris Cosentino. What truly sets these accommodations apart is that it’s one of Napa Valley’s only hotels to actually overlook a vineyard.

Earlier this year, I was thrilled to stay at Las Alcobas Mexico City, and I fell in love with the clean design and luxury aesthetic. Beyond that, I had the opportunity to meet Samuel Leizorek, founder of Las Alcobas Hotel Group, and he couldn’t have been more welcoming, smart, and kind. When the opportunity arose to experience Las Alcobas Napa Valley, I knew I couldn’t pass it up!
A member of Starwood Hotel & Resorts’ “The Luxury Collection,” Las Alcobas Napa Valley is situated adjacent to the historic Beringer Vineyards. Needless to say, when we booked a room with a “vineyard view,” they weren’t kidding around! To walk out onto the room’s private balcony at sunset, with a glass of wine in-hand, and take in the view was nothing short of amazing. In the fall and cooler months, the built-in outdoor fireplace will make the experience that much more relaxing. Seeing that we visited in mid-June, the property’s saltwater pool was definitely the best way to unwind!
Our room at Las Alcobas Napa Valley was beautifully appointed, and although the design errs on the modern and minimal side, it was one of the most comfortable stays I’ve every had. Before departing, I made a point to check the tags of the pillows and mattress, because I haven’t slept that well in a long time. I’m sure the blackout shades and all of the amazing food and wine we had helped the cause as well ;)
If you’re planning a visit to Napa, and looking for a luxury hotel with stunning design and fantastic amenities, I highly recommend Las Alcobas Napa Valley!
