My Ultimate LAKE Pajamas Review

With a name like LAKE, this brand better be great! Lol. In all seriousness, I’m always searching for the perfect pajamas. After all, sleep is my favorite thing in the entire world. 🙂 As you know, I travel frequently for my full-time job, and not to get all meta on you, but sometimes pajamas are honestly one of the best reminders of home. It’s never fun to sleep in hotel beds, and so the added comfort of cozy pajamas makes those nights away easier. Enter LAKE Pajamas, a relatively new-to-me brand. Today, I wanted to share my in-depth LAKE Pajamas review!

First and foremost, the company was founded in 2014 in Savannah, Georgia to bring pajama perfection to women, men, and children. For the past 12+ years, they’ve been designing pieces to live up to the most comfortable part of your our day. They strongly support comfortable moments like nights at home with families, weekend escapes with friends, a “dose of me-time” after a long day.

For the past several years, I’ve loved watching LAKE really raise the bar for the sleep and loungewear industry. Instead of matronly, oversized granny-like jammies, there are now so many silhouettes for the modern shopper!

LAKE Pajamas starts their design process with simple silhouettes. These classic, timeless styles are never body con, but more ethereal and effortless. Beautiful colors, classic stripe and patterns, all in the softest fabric imaginable: 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton. Now, LAKE offers pajama perfection for women, men, and children with collections in premium fabrics that extend to casual wear beyond the bed. In fact, I was first introduced to the brand a couple years ago when they gifted me one of their cotton poplin dresses. It’s still on regular rotation to this day!

For me, I find all of the LAKE pieces to fit true to size. Plus, their fabrics keep their shape incredibly well. The cotton gauze has a linen-like ease to the texture (while remaining perfectly soft). I love how their easy to pack for travel as well!

My favorite item from the summer collection is the Kimono Robe. Friends, this one is the real deal! While I do love my thick, cozy, terry robe I’ve had for years, this cotton poplin option from LAKE is just what I needed for summer. Lightweight with obi-inspired-sewn-in tie, wide sleeves, and uber-chic stripes. Love! If they add more future colorways to this style, you can bet I’ll buy them all! Their classic poplin robe is perfect if you’re looking for a more traditional sleeve and above-the-knee length.
