Hooray! Meet the Gail Holiday Tunic Dress – the newest addition to the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday 2021 collection. Additionally, this is the very first time that I’ve ever included an a-line tunic dress to our capsule line. I’m so happy we did so! Similar to its namesake, the Gail Holiday Tunic Dress is ethereal, effortless and timeless.
While I’m head over heels in love with all of the styles in the collection, this particular style holds a very dear place in my heart for countless reasons.
Gail Holiday Tunic Dress
For those who have followed Sail to Sable forever, the brand is known for their tunic styles. They truly design them better than anyone, and it’s a huge part of the brand DNA. In fact, the very first time that I learned about Sail to Sable was on Nantucket! I was shopping in a local boutique and came across their original tunic styles in multiple hues. It was love at first sight!
This season, I’ve used their new a-line tunic shape and done my own unique spin on it. For example, I decided to create the pink and red color combination and add a chic scallop trim to both the neckline and wrist trim.
Styling Tips
First and foremost, please make sure to steam the Gail Dress when it arrives in the mail! This way, you experience it in all of its glory! Furthermore, I like to give it a once over with static guard just to be safe. The fabric is BUTTERY soft, and since it’s winter, a few sprays of static guard will help keep its shape!
We specifically designed the holiday tunic in a lovely lightweight poly taffeta. I specifically chose this fabric since I wanted to give you a holiday-forward design for those parties, dinners and experience in winter that gets too WARM! Have you ever arrived at a dinner party and the host has kept their house at like 80 degrees? The Gail Holiday Tunic Dress is perfect for that occasion.
Plus, it can be easily layered with a cardigan, blazer, coat and other pieces. It’s extremely versatile for all occasions (and even seasons).
Style Charade Size Guide
Similar to other styles in the capsule, the Gail Holiday Tunic Dress will be sold in sizes XXS-3X. I find it to fit true to size. If between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down.
