Frances Valentine Caftan
Overall, Frances Valentine is a modern American women’s lifestyle brand. The brand includes a range of colorful apparel and accessories. I am a fan! In fact, you’ll find ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories.
How did the brand launch? In 2016, Elyce Arons launched the collection in collaboration with Kate and Andy Spade. In essence, the brand celebrates all things joyful. It’s the ultimate colorful perspective! Furthermore, it feels like a natural extension of the original kate spade line.
Furthermore, Frances Valentine is a design house based on Kate Spade’s timeless style. Everything they create is a mix of original, vintage and modern pieces that surprise and delight. Ultimately, they hope to brighten shopper’s lives with beautiful pieces.
Case in point, this beautiful Frances Valentine Caftan. In fact, the resort style is available in multiple colors. However, my favorite is the Peacock Caftan Dress in navy. Furthermore, the style is available in sizes 0-14.
Caftan Embroidery
Doesn’t this style remind of relaxing on the beach in Cabo San Lucas? I love the easy, breezy silhouette. Thankfully, the brand created a new version with pockets. Hooray! Pockets are the best.
Additionally, the new fit is breezy. Therefore, it doesn’t fit true to size. I recommend sizing down! The custom embroidery is on the front, but the back is plane
Additionally, the embroidery design comes from San Antonino Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca in Southeast Mexico. Each piece is a work of art. Best of all, with your help, a portion of the proceeds of the sales of the caftans go directly to the artists around Oaxaca.
