Well, it’s officially sweater weather. Even though we had a quick moment of warmth earlier this month, those days are long gone. Lately, it’s been a blessing to have temps anywhere near 50! Thankfully, as a lifelong Chicagoan, I’ve amassed an array of cozy layers. The newest one to the collection? This Fanm Mon cardigan in hand-knit organic cotton.
In 2013, Sophia Demirtas founded Fanm Mon as an ode to her Haitian heritage. Over the years, the brand has embraced the artisanal techniques of Ukraine, where there were once based, and Turkey, where they’ve now made a new home. I’ve been a longtime fan of their dresses and wore a floral one during our trip to Palm Beach earlier this year.
For styling, I kept with the cozy theme, and went with all my favorite staples. The look includes my most-worn denim to my go-to pumps, and a textured monogrammed pouch. For me, it’s a perfect casual-day-at-the-office outfit.
