Towards the end of last year, we decided that a weekend in Miami was in order. I had two weeklong back-to-back trips out of the country with a Miami connection in between the two. As opposed to racing back to Chicago for the portion of the weekend, we decided it would be far more enjoyable to soak up some Florida sun! Best of all, it was the perfect excuse to try a new hotel.
I’ve seen Faena Miami Beach at the top of so many travel lists for the past couple years and had been excited to find an opportunity to stay there. The Art Deco-inspired decor, phenomenal service, and stunningly appointed rooms absolutely lived up to the hype. We splurged for a junior suite, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I can always tell when I REALLY like a hotel when I take mental notes about the floor plan, bathroom fixtures, and color schemes for our future dream home!
Exploring the property resulted in so many fun discoveries. My favorite (by far) was the spa on the third floor. Not only is the space massive, but the colorful design and jaw-dropping chandelier were even more amazing in person. Although these photos make it seem like nobody was staying on the property, it was actually a pretty busy weekend at Faena Miami Beach. Regardless, our room and floor were blissfully quiet (a big plus!). Needless to say, I would absolutely stay at Faena Miami Beach again.
