Hi friends! As I shared on Instagram Stories, we had an amazing long weekend in LA (and a long overdue return trip to the West Coast). Ironically, the weather there was unseasonably cool while it was in the 80s in Chicago, lol. Regardless, it was such a great trip! We stayed in Santa Monica, just a stone’s through from the LA office for my full-time job. I always love spending time in California, and this time was no exception. Best of all, we tried a few new-to-us restaurants including Chulita, Society Kitchen, Calabra, Sorry Not Sorry, among others. It was beyond heart-warming to see each one of them so full of people enjoying themselves. Plus, the food was SO good all around!
