Dillards Nicola Bathie Floral Dresss
The Nicola Bathie Dillards Collection recently launched, and her designs with Antonio Melani turned out so beautifully! Originally, I became familiar with Nicola from her independent jewelry brand (more details here). When I heard she was collaborating to create a holiday capsule of ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories, I knew it would turn our beautifully! Case in point, this floral midi dress. From the pouf sleeves to the velvet tie details, it’s even lovelier in person. For me, I found it to fit true to size, and the texture of the fabric is super luxe.
Last week, I traveled to Finland for work, and I definitely packed this dress in my suitcase. It was the perfect dressy option for dinner and drinks out! Better yet, it’s comfortable enough for long, leisurely meals with friends and colleagues. The dress has a back zip, and the velvet ties at the waist are fully functional. They ability to cinch the waist for a perfect fit is so smart. Plus, who doesn’t love an extra bow detail (or four, lol). The shoes are also true to size – I’m typically a 5.5, and that size worked perfectly for me!
