Happy Sunday! After a quick 72 hours at home, I am heading off again on a work trip to Mexico. On of our hotel clients is partnering with rewardStyle and LIKEtoKNOW.it to host an amazing group of bloggers for an #LTKgetaway. After spending much of my weekend with family, I packed everything for my trip last night. At the very top of my list is my new Cult Gaia Cupola bag. It arrived in the mail earlier this week, and I’m obsessed. I love how they took their classic Ark style and literally turned it upside down! Mine is the mini size, and they also have it available one size larger, which is about five inches wider.
If you’ve been reading Style Charade for a while, you’ll know that I definitely have a weakness for Cult Gaia bags. In the summer of 2015, I bought my first Ark bag, and I later fell head over heels for their assortment of colors as well as the Lilleth and Stella styles. This new Cult Gaia Cupola bag is definitely going to get a ton of use this summer and beyond!
Today’s post showcases the most amazing new Chicago mural. We stumbled upon it this weekend, and it’s even prettier in person! While not fully completed, I was so thrilled to discover it that I had to take a few photos. The design is based off classic chinoiserie, and we had a chance to speak with one of the creators of the mural. They said that the ultimate plan is to add a glazed effect at the very end – so cool! Lastly, see more details of the wall and its location in my Chicago Wall Charades Guide!
This blue floral chinoiserie mural was created by AndyB, Anna Murphy, and Sifu Chow. Find more details and all of my favorite street art and murals in my Chicago Wall Charades Guide!
