Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a super busy week at work, so I’m looking forward to relaxing this weekend. There are a ton of new shows to stream (Outer Banks, Becoming, Dead to Me, 23 Hours to Kill, to name a few). Looks like I’ll need to update my guide to all the best streaming series! Moreover, we’re still chipping away at our home design and on the hunt for pieces to add to our living room, dining room, and primary bedroom.
Cheers to the weekend, friends! Needless to say, we’ll be spending the weekend at home. We’ve officially passed day 50 of social distancing, and we’ve used our kitchen more in these almost-two months than in the previous year we’ve lived here, lol. As I’ve shared before, we’ve loved trying out so many different recipes from friends and loved ones.
Since the pandemic started, my screen time has nearly doubled. From Hulu to Netflix, Quibi, IGTV, and – of course – YouTube, the entertainment industry has upped its game. If you’re like me, I’m constantly on the hunt for new options, so I thought it might be fun to share some of our favorite streaming shows and YouTube channels.
As we continue to social distance for at least another month, I’ve taken on a new hobby – home organization. Every drawer, cupboard, and closet has become a fresh “project” for me to take on. My first one? Our pantry!
How has your week been? Illinois officially extended its “shelter in place” order by another 30 days, which means we’ll be social distancing through the end of May. After hearing the announcement, I felt a twinge of emotions.
Another week has come and gone. How are you, friends? A few recent updates – as you know, COVID-19 has greatly impacted countless jobs and industries. The PR/marketing industry has been hit exceptionally hard. I’m incredibly thankful to still have my full-time job. The pandemic (and working from home) has made me more productive than ever.
After social distancing for more than a month, I’ve watched my fair share of romantic comedies. I’m talking those tear-jerking, heart-melting movies with iconic phrases you won’t soon forget. After rewatching these iconic films, I started to notice a trend. There are LOT of superb, stylish, and frankly timeless outfits. Is it possible quarantine outfits can be inspired by romantic comedies?
Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard a lot of people refer to this time as social distancing as “Groundhog Dog” (my dad included). Have you seen the iconic Bill Murray movie from the 90’s? Here’s the basic plot – Bill Murray’s character, Phil Connors, wakes up every single morning and relives the exact same day over and over again. Sound familiar?
