Do you have a favorite getaway location in your hometown? A place to which you can escape, regardless of the weather, and lose yourself in its surroundings? For me, Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory is one of those spots. Not only does it feel like summer year-round, but the rotating exhibits are always so lovely. It’s also one of my favorite destinations for blog photos (see some previous examples here, here, and here). Moreover, I made sure to include it in my list of the Most Instagrammable Places in Chicago. Recently, I received this BHLDN blush embellished tiered gown as a gift, and my first thought was to escape to this historic conservatory. The sequin details felt reminiscent of the iconic tiled fountain which is originally from Casablanca (one of Chicago’s sister-cities). Lastly, the spring flower show is well underway, making it an even more perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon!
