The Best Peerspace Brooklyn Rentals

Have you heard of Peerspace? Simply put, it’s a peer-to-peer marketplace for spaces for meetings, photo shoots, video productions, and even events. There are thousands of options to choose from along with ratings of spacings of simple dashboards to track your bookings. You search for Peerspace options by day and time, along with the reason for your booking. Similar to AirBNB, they even have “power hosts” who frequently rent out their spaces. It’s a also phenomenal option for culinary, office, fitness, studio, performance, event, and class spaces. Today, I wanted to share two of the best Peerspace Brooklyn rentals, along with a few other options that caught my eye.

Peerspace launched in 2014, and it has grown to operate in multiple locations around the U.S., including Brooklyn, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Austin, Seattle, and Washington D.C. Additionally, PeerSpace was founded by Rony Chammas and Matt Bendett. Both Rony and Matt worked together at EA. They built an incredible company, and they help everyone uncover the best places to meet, create, and celebrate, and “empower creatives to reimagine space.”

There are countless reasons to rent productive spaces through Peerspace. First, they have phenomenal tools to make booking seamless, and you never have to worry about messy contracts. Also, I love they include customer reviews so you can narrow down your picks to the most highly recommended spaces. Between the smooth bookings and honest pricing business model, PeerSpace is truly one of the best options to find locations for private events, photo shoot locations, and beyond.

Two Best Peerspace Brooklyn Rentals

Many months ago, my amazing friend and photographer Alicia recommended Peerspace to me. Are you familiar with it? I’d heard of the brand before, along with similar concepts like Breather. However, I’d never booked something. Keep in mind, I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb to begin with, much less rented out a space for photo shoots. However, after struggling for weeks to find locations for photo shoots, I was desperate to find a solution.

Therefore, Bob and I decided to book one creative space and another studio space in Brooklyn. We didn’t know what to expect when booking, but we found the process to be super easy! Best of the all, the spaces were perfect. After all, booking a space can be stressful. However, they make booking a space as easy as possible.

For example, you can filter the selections by the activity you’re planning, the day and time you need a location, and the city or destination you’re looking for. From there, Peerspace’s booking tools narrow down the search to what’s available. Plus, you can sort the selection by price, amount of attendees, style, space type, amenities and more. Brilliant!

Event Spaces

Are you searching for an event space for private events in Brooklyn? Peerspace is honestly one of the best ways to book a space. Based on my searches, a few of the top ones include this Brooklyn Modern Industrial Space for $120 an hour. It has a four hour minimum but can be booked for up to 50 people. Also, it has 260+ five star reviews, which clearly means a lot of people highly recommend this event space

Another one that looks fabulous? This Exposed brick Multi-use Event Space in Ukranian Village, New York. The 1,195 square foot space is has exposed brick walls, and comes with countless amenities. Think tables, chairs, speakers, microphones, and wifi. Best of all, it’s a one hour booking minimum (one of the lowest I’ve seen). For only $200/hour, this Peerspace is a steal in my humble opinion. It also has impeccable customer ratings.

Production Studios

Finding a space as easy as Peerspace is a dream come true – especially for production studios. For my full-time job, I’ve priced out several production studios over the years for photo shoots, campaigns, and even video shoots. Typically, they are CRAZY expensive. Peerspace? Affordable and a seamless booking experience.

One of the top production studios in East Williamsburg is this All Inclusive East Williamsburg Photo Studio, a 549 square foot space. It’s only $39 an hour with a two hour minimum. 10 people can be on-site, and 12 foot high ceilings and southern facing windows which provides great light throughout the day. Plus, it’s truly an all inclusive space, with light stands, light reflectors, sand bags, and beyond.

Next up, this Bushwick Daylight Loft Photo Studio, another East Williamsburg gem. It’s also 510 square feet and can fit up to 10 people. The production studio is $50 an hour with a two hour minimum, and it has more than 1,000+ five-star reviews.

Creative Spaces

Lastly, if you’re looking for creative spaces, Peerspace offers versatile settings. My favorites include homes and apartments. Yes! you can become a host yourself and book your condo, single family home and/or apartment for photo shoots for other people. Typically, these types of spaces are a bit more expensive. However, they’re totally worth it!

How about this historic Brooklyn brownstone mansion? Sure, it’s $416 an hour, but every single inch of the space is amazing! Looking for something more modern? Check out this 4,542 square foot modern home in Greenpoint at $600 an hour.

Finally, this 3,600 square foot Park Slope brownstone offers a clean slate to really make it your own. The only catch? It’s $425 an hour with a six-hour minimum. Granted, if you’re looking for a full-day shoot, this one is truly a beautiful option!

Best Brooklyn Peerspaces

Dreamloft Studios

First up, Dreamloft Studios by the ever-so-wonderful Rachel Martino. Rach and I first met many years ago during an influencer trip to France with Grey Goose to Le Logis. The trip was phenomenal (one of my faves ever). We immediately clicked, and we’ve kept in touch ever since.

Rach launched Dreamloft Studios as a space for gorgeous photo shoots and content creation. Friends, the space is perfect. The high ceilings and colorful interior design are divine! Moreover, she recently launched a second PeerSpace in Brooklyn too.

Her first Peerspace location is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and just a stone’s throw from some of the hottest hotels, including The Hoxton Hotel Williamsburg, William Vale Hotel, the Wythe Hotel and The Williamsburg Hotel (which we’ve stayed at multiple times). Dreamloft Studios Brooklyn has so many stunning rooms to capture in the 2,000 square foot space.

One of my favorites? This beautiful pink room with the most fabulous built-ins. As you can see, Dreamloft Studios is unique thanks to the attention to detail and bold interior design. She describes it as a work-life loft with high ceilings and a mix of Art Deco vibes with a feminine touch. Currently, they charge $200 an hour with a four hour minimum. With so many spaces to photograph, trust me – you’ll be able to fill the time.

Additionally, they only allow for 10 people at a time. Keep that in mind in the case you’re planning a big production shoot or event.

The Regal Suite

Next up, The Regal Suite located in Brooklyn in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. The Suite is on the top floor of a beautiful Brownstone home located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant/Stuyvesant Heights neighborhood. Thankfully, there is ample street parking near the studio, which made the process seamless! It’s truly one of the best Peerspace Brooklyn rentals.

This Black-owned business is founded by Makini Regal Martin, foundr of Makini Regal Designs, a Brooklyn-based event design company specializing in floral + event dècor. The Regal Suite is made up of two separate Instagrammable spaces – the Pink Parlor or Blush at the Regal Suite and Mint to Be. Expect breezy, airy spaces that are perfect for multiple type of photo shoots.

They’ve thought of everything, including a bathroom and vanity area for light makeup and hair touchups. Very helpful!

Pink Parlor at The Regal Suite

Don’t be fooled by this 151 square foot space. There are plenty of phenomenal photo opps here! Right now, it’s $125 an hour with a two-hour minimum. I messaged with Makini, who was so sweet and helpful, and she said that I could spend one hour in the Pink Parlor and the other in Mint to Be. Love that!

This space has large windows that can be closed or open with shutter shades. Additionally, the furnishings and décor are blush pink with a matching palm tree installation. Makini has also thought of everything – a clothing rack, steamer and rose gold hangers, and even a vintage bar cart with two pink champagne glasses. It’s like the ultimate beauty, bridal, fashion and portrait shoot location.

Mint to Be at The Regal Suite

The second space at The Regal Studio is called “Mint to Be,” a 129 square foot space. Friends, this all mint space is dreamy!

Only about 2-3 people can fit in this room, but the images are fabulous! Mint to Be has a desk and chair, decorative wall with palm leaf floral installation, neon light and statement vintage peacock chair. Everything is painted in the mint green color. All of the furnishings and décor are mint green with multiple props to work with, such as a record player, telephone and roller skates.

Quick photo tip – Bob brought his flash with him, which we needed to use in this room. Not a huge deal, but something that could help! 🙂
