One of the greatest joys of my life is being an Auntie. As my niece has gotten older, my family and I have decided to keep her off social media. While I get requests for cameos, Bob and I want to respect her privacy. However, we’ve learned a lot about holiday gift ideas for girls based on our experience with her. My niece is the the hardest person to shop for. In fact, Bob and I spend countless hours combing through websites, lists, talking with my family and beyond to try to get her the perfect gifts. She’s the BEST, and we always want to get her what she wants.
Every Christmas, we’ve spoiled her rotten. Seriously! This child gets more gifts than I’ve ever seen. Funny enough, I love seeing the look on my brother and sister-in-law’s faces when they assess the damage. Lol!
Anyway, I wanted to share a list of presents my niece has LOVED and/or what we’ve purchased for her this year. These are the items she’s basically torn open and started playing with the minute she’s received them (and/or will soon!).

One // This year, we’ve decided to get my niece a large, colorful set of legos. She’s always had an affinity for building things, and we feel she’s old enough to work with some of these smaller pieces. Plus, she has amazing eye and hand coordination (yes, we’re biased – but it’s true!).
Two // Eva Chen, the head of Instagram’s Fashion team, unveiled a children’s book that’s already hit the New York Times Bestsellers list. It’s perfect for girls ages 4-6. We bought this for our niece this year, and I’m confident she’ll love it!
Three // This is one of the gifts my niece ripped open last year. She was surrounded by a huge mountain of gifts, and the tiles were the first thing she grabbed to play with.
Four // As a world traveler myself, I really want to see my niece jet set around the world. I think it’s SO important. Furthermore, I want her to understand a world map, continents, etc.
Five // Nearly every time we visit my niece, she wants to play with Play-Doh. It’s so simple (not to mention so inexpensive), but it always does the trick!

Six // In truth, this is the #1 gift my niece wants this year. She saw it at her cousin’s house and immediately asked my brother and sister-in-law for it. I can’t wait for her to open this one!
Seven // Yesterday, we saw a little girl singing into another version of this microphone (Frozen, of course). My niece LOVES Moana, like so many little ones, so we knew it was an immediate “win” for a holiday gift.
Eight // Do you know kids who are obsessed with Paw Patrol? My niece can’t get enough of it. I love this pet play set by Melissa and Doug. She’s going to love this gift! Melissa and Doug make the BEST toys. I highly recommend anything from the brand!
Nine // As you know, I’m a huge fan of Steamline Luggage, and this children’s style is beyond adorable. Based on reviews, it doesn’t have a ton of space, but I still think it’s a great gift idea! Comes in a bunch of colors too (I’m partial to the light pink)!
