Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to be more active and/or workout more? If so, I wanted to share some of the best activewear to buy right now to keep you looking stylish and fresh this year. There are SO many great options on the market, and plenty of new brands that are worth checking out. Plus, the pieces are versatile enough to wear to the gym, working remote, and hanging out with friends on weekends.
I also love brands are pushing the limits with color combinations and unique fabrics to take activewear to the next level. Additionally, leggings, sports bras, pullover tops, and tank tops are becoming more affordable than ever. No need to break the bank to feel (and look) stylish while out for a walk or run.
Best Activewear
So where should you start? Personally, I’ve fallen head over sneakers for Addison Bay. The brand is BRILLIANT. This summer, I had the opportunity to meet the Addison Bay team on Nantucket, and they couldn’t have been nicer. Plus, they have a wide range of options for every type of active experience on the planet.
Addison Bay
Playing tennis? They have the cutest tennis skirts and tops on the planet. Pickleball? Absolutely! Addison Bay has you covered.
As I mentioned above, I was first introduced to Addison Bay at a party at White Elephant on Nantucket. During the event, I met the founder, Marguerite Adzick, and learned more about her passion for fitness. She merged her background in the fashion industry with her business acumen to launch Addison Bay. In doing so, their mission is to provide functional and stylish activewear to women everywhere.
So what did I get? Well, I chose to wear the Addison Bay Varsity Quarter Zip, Everyday Leggings, and Everyday Long Sleeve Tee in pink and white stripes to the LTK Conference back in September.
Aren’t these pieces darling? I absolutely adore the color combination of blue, pink, and green. Beyond the chic hues, the pieces are SO comfy. I wore them on the plane and felt so cozy.
IVL Collective
Another brand to check out? IVL Collective, a curated collection of activewear by the brilliant and talented Emily Jackson. Beyond the fashionable pieces, I love IVL includes a collagen-infused fabric with additional features like UPF50+ protection, anti-static and antimicrobial elements.
From sports bras to leggings, tops to even puffer jackets, there’s something for everyone. Most pieces are under $150, and worth every penny. I especially love the Scallop Power Bra and Scallop Active Leggings.
VARLEY
One more of my recent favorites is VARLEY. Headquartered between Los Angeles and London, VARLEY creates contemporary & active collections, a wardrobe for the modern women to elevate the everyday. I’ve been wearing their chic layers all fall and winter, and I adore how sleek and chic their collections are. Think monochromatic moments and classic cuts and fits.
