Alexis Contessa Dress

I was beyond elated our recent trip to New York City occurred during an unseasonable warm spell. I borrowed this Alexis Contessa dress from Rent the Runway with this stunning ombré mural by MOMO in mind. Thankfully, it worked perfectly to photograph it there!

As you’ve seen recently, Rent the Runway has been a go-to of mine. I love how it allows for both greater affordability and sustainability. Especially for this kind of special occasion orange, split front gown. In my dream world, I’d wear it grocery shopping (lol), but instead this Alexis Contessa gown is best for events, weddings, and the like. I found it to run slightly small, so if you’re in between sizes, go up.

I paired it with my staple stilettos – the Manolo Blahnik BB pump and my favorite gold cuff by Giles & Brother.
